Mark’s 33 years of experience leading organizations underscores the importance of connecting strategy and culture. At age 27, he bought a business and in 10 years grew it from one employee to 30. Post 9/11, he then led its further expansion to 130 and $20M in revenue, adding to its industrial base by working with large systems integrators in the government space.

 

There was a problem. The growth wasn’t sustainable without making a change. “Our culture wasn’t a priority and I initially wasn’t the leader I needed to be.”

 

This realization became a pivotal moment for Mark. Going forward he persistently pursued strategy and culture together, resulting in the execution required to achieve significant and sustained success.
